The Elections Team is hard at work getting election-ready for 2014. Our office received a Notice of Election from the Florida Department of Elections and an Executive Order from Governor Rick Scott to hold a Special Election for US Congressional District 19. The Special Primary Election is scheduled for April 22, 2014 and the General will be held on June 24, 2014.
Our office is also preparing for the Gubernatorial Primary Election scheduled for Tuesday, August 26 and the Gubernatorial General Election scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Please visit our Dates and Deadlines page to stay on top of this year’s election deadlines and requirements.
Don’t forget to visit our Community Calendar to view events our Voter Education and Outreach Department has planned. We will be out in the community conducting voter registration drives, hosting student elections, and will be partnering with Collier County elementary and middle schools to assist with their reading programs this spring.
